Field Locations

The AM Davis soccer fields are located in the southside of the City of Richmond.

Take Route 60 west (Midlothian Turnpike) from Chippenham Parkway. Turn left at Providence Road. Drive about 1/2 mile and school is on the left. The soccer fields are behind the school.

The field is located in Dorey Park in eastern Henrico County.

From north of the James River, take I-64 E, through downtown, to the Laburnum Ave. exit (exit 195). Head south on Laburnum, past the Nabisco plant to Darbytown Rd. Turn left, continuing on Darbytown past Strath Road; the park will be on your right.

From south of the James River, take Chippenham Parkway (VA 150) toward I-95. Upon crossing I-95, Chippenham will turn into VA 895 (it isn't officially I-895 yet, for all of you road geeks). You will then confront a $1.50 toll. Soon after, take the first exit, Laburnum Avenue. Follow Laburnum Avenue through New Market Road (VA 5), and onto to the first major intersection, Darbytown Road. Turn right, continuing on Darbytown past Strath Road; the park will be on your right.

Fields #3, #4, #5 & #6: Once you enter the park, the fields will be on the right. They are numbered starting from the road. Field #1, closest to the main road, in known as "The Rugby Field". Field #2 is next, known as "the Flag Football Field". Fields #3, #4, #5 & #6 are the lit soccer fields that the CVSA will use. They are the last four toward the wooded area.

Field #7: The CVSA will continue to use the back field, known as Field #7, which is 1/2 mile from the entrance of the park on the left hand side, just past the equestrian area. For longtime CVSA players, this is the field that has been in use for the longest by the CVSA.

The field is located in the north side of the city of Richmond, near the Bryan Park Soccer Complex.

From the south, take I-95 north to exit 80 (Hermitage Rd. / Lakeside Ave. / VA 161). The exit will actually dump you onto Westbrook Ave. Veer left, and follow Westbrook Ave. past Westminster Cantebury. Continue on Westbrook through the traffic lights at Brook Road & Chamberlayne Avenue. Westbrook dead ends one block later at Old Brook Road. Take a right onto Old Brook Road; you will pass Henderson Middle School & John Marshall High School. Take the second left, Bellevue Ave., and follow it for about 1/4 of a mile. The field will be on your left.

From the north, take I-95 south to exit 82 (Chamberlayne Avenue / US 301). Pass through the light at Azalea Avenue; your next light will be Westbrook Avenue. Take a left off of Chamberlayne to Westbrook. Westbrook dead ends one block later at Old Brook Road. Take a right onto Old Brook Road; you will pass Henderson Middle School & John Marshall High School. Take the second left, Bellevue Ave., and follow it for about 1/4 of a mile. The field will be on your left.

The field is located in Richmond's Historic Fulton Hill District.

From Downtown Richmond, take I-64 east to the Laburnum Ave. exit (exit 195). Remember that this exit is east of Downtown; it is not the one off of I-64 at I-195! Go south on Laburnum to Williamsburg Rd. (US 60). Take a right on Williamsburg Rd., heading back toward the city. Just after you cross the city limits take a right on Randall Ave. Follow Randall Ave. until it dead ends at the field. If you get to Government Rd. then you have gone to far on Williamsburg Rd.

From Richmond, take Main St. (VA 5) east through Shockoe Bottom. Take a left on Williamsburg Rd. and go through Fulton Hill past Government Rd. Take the third left which is Randall Ave and follow it to the field.

Shortcut to Onslow Minnis: take Fenton Street west, toward Government Road. Fenton will dead-end at Bunn Ave.; take a right. Follow Bunn, and Accomac St. merges from the right. Accomac will dead-end at Jennie Scher Rd.; take a left. Follow Jennie Scher to Government Road; take a right. Follow Government Road to Crestview Road which is the first right after the railroad tracks. Take a right on 38th Street, which will take you directly to the field.

Shortcut to Oakwood: take Fenton Street west, toward Government Road. Fenton will dead-end at Bunn Ave.; take a right. Follow Bunn, and Accomac St. merges from the right. Accomac will dead-end at Jennie Scher Rd.; take a right. Follow Jennie Scher through the housing project, past the Hebrew Cemetery on your right, across the railroad tracks, until it dead-ends at East Richmond Road; take a left. Follow East Richmond Road up the hill to the Oakwood Cemetery gates and turn left on Oakwood Ave. Take your first right, Canepa Street, and the field will be on your right.

The Providence Middle School soccer fields are located in the southside of the City of Richmond

Take Route 60 west (Midlothian Turnpike) from Chippenham Parkway. Turn left at Ruthers Rd. (Wendy's on right). Take second right on Marthaven Lane. Turn right on Starlight Lane. The soccer fields are behind school.

A. ARRIVING FROM I-95 HEADING SOUTH AND I-64 HEADING EAST

1. Take Exit #78
2. Make a right onto the Boulevard (VA 161)
3. The Sports Backers Stadium entrance is on the left (3001 North Boulevard) just after the stop light and the entrance to the Diamond. Sports Backers Stadium is 100 yards straight ahead.

1. Take Exit #78 and make a left at the bottom of the exit ramp.
2. Take a right at the first traffic light onto Robin Hood Road.
3. Take a left at the next traffic light onto the Boulevard (VA 161).
4. The Sports Backers Stadium entrance is on the left (3001 North Boulevard) just after the stop light and the entrance to the Diamond. Sports Backers Stadium is 100 yards straight ahead.

The St. Catherine's School field complex is located in Goochland County in the west end of Richmond. The fields are not on the grounds of the school itself, which is located in the Fan.

From the north, take I-295 west towards Charlottesville. Exit onto I-64 west, continuing towards Charlottesville. Follow I-64 approximately 2 miles and exit onto Route 288 south. Continue on Route 288 south, taking the 3rd exit onto Route 1250 west (West Creek Parkway) to Goochland and Route 6 west. Follow route 1250 west for 1/2 mile to Stop Sign and turn right onto Route 6 (Patterson Avenue) west. Follow Route 6 west for 1/2 mile and turn left onto Route 650 (River Road) across from the Richmond Country Club. Follow River Road for .7 mile and enter into the St. Catherine's School field complex on your left, an unmarked paved road.

From the east, take I-64 west, continuing towards Charlottesville. Follow I-64 onto Route 288 south. Continue on Route 288 south, taking the 3rd exit onto Route 1250 west (West Creek Parkway) to Goochland and Route 6 west. Follow route 1250 west for 1/2 mile to Stop Sign and turn right onto Route 6 (Patterson Avenue) west. Follow Route 6 west for 1/2 mile and turn left onto Route 650 (River Road) across from the Richmond Country Club. Follow River Road for .7 mile and enter into the St. Catherine's School field complex on your left, an unmarked paved road.

From the south, take Route 288 north. From Route 288 north exit onto Route 6 (Patterson Avenue) west. Follow Route 6 west for 1/2 mile and turn left onto route 650 (River Road) across from Richmond Country Club. Follow River Road for .7 mile and enter into the St. Catherine's School field complex on your left, an unmarked paved road.

From St. Catherine's School in the Fan, travel west on Grove Ave. Turn left onto Three Chopt Road (at stoplight). Turn right onto Cary Street (at stoplight). Turn right onto River Road. Travel west on River Road (approximately 8 miles). Entrance is on your right.

Take I-64 W to the Short Pump exit. The exit will put you on Broad Street (US 250). Head west on Broad Street. Take a right on Pouncey Tract Rd (VA 271). Follow Pouncey Tract over the interstate; the field is in front of Short Pump Middle School on your right.

From the north, take the I-195 South toward Richmond. Take the I-195 South exit #186. Take the Hamilton Street exit, staying to the right as the exit splits. Turn right onto W. Broad Street. Turn right just past the Ford dealership onto Maywill Street. Take the second right into the Ukrop's parking lot. Enter through the Ukrop's front door and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Take a right towards First Market Bank and then continue around to the left to the Kickers' offices.

From the south, take the Powhite Pkwy. to I-195, exiting at the Broad Street exit. That exit will put you onto Clay Street. Turn right onto Rosemeath Road. Turn right onto W, Broad Street. Turn right just past the Ford dealership onto Maywill Street. Take the second right into the Ukrop's parking lot. Enter through the Ukrop's front door and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Take a right towards First Market Bank and then continue around to the left to the Kickers' offices.

From the west, take I-64 East toward Richmond. Merge onto Staples Mill Road East via exit #185B. Turn left onto Thalbro Street. Turn right onto Maywill Street. Turn left into Ukrop's parking lot. Enter through the Ukrop's front door and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Take a right towards First Market Bank and then continue around to the left to the Kickers' offices.

From the east, take I-64 West toward Richmond. Merge onto I-64 West via exit #79. Merge onto Staples Mill Road via exit #185. Turn left onto Thalbro Street. Turn right onto Maywill Street. Turn left into Ukrop's parking lot. Enter through the Ukrop's front door and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Take a right towards First Market Bank and then continue around to the left to the Kickers' offices.

From the Fan, take Broad Street West and turn right onto W. Broad Street. Turn right just past the Ford dealership onto Maywill Street. Take the second right into the Ukrop's parking lot. Enter through the Ukrop's front door and take the stairs or elevator to the second floor. Take a right towards First Market Bank and then continue around to the left to the Kickers' offices.
