Field Locations

The AM Davis soccer fields are located in the southside of the City of Richmond.

Take US Route 60 West (Midlothian Turnpike) from Chippenham Parkway. Turn left at Providence Road. Drive about 1/2 mile and school is on the left. The soccer fields are behind the school.

Take US Route 60 East (Midlothian Turnpike) from Powhite Parkway. Turn right at Providence Road. Drive about 1/2 mile and school is on the left. The soccer fields are behind the school.

The field is located in Dorey Park in eastern Henrico County.

From north of the James River, take I-64 E, through downtown, to the Laburnum Ave. exit (exit 195). Head south on Laburnum, past the Nabisco plant to Darbytown Rd. Turn left, continuing on Darbytown past Strath Road; the park will be on your right.

From south of the James River, take Chippenham Parkway (VA 150) toward I-95. Upon crossing I-95, Chippenham will turn into VA 895 (it isn't officially I-895 yet, for all of you road geeks). You will then confront a $1.50 toll. Soon after, take the first exit, Laburnum Avenue. Follow Laburnum Avenue through New Market Road (VA 5), and onto to the first major intersection, Darbytown Road. Turn right, continuing on Darbytown past Strath Road; the park will be on your right.

Fields #3, #4, #5 & #6: Once you enter the park, the fields will be on the right. They are numbered starting from the road. Field #1, closest to the main road, in known as "The Rugby Field". Field #2 is next, known as "the Flag Football Field". Fields #3, #4, #5 & #6 are the lit soccer fields that the CVSA will use. They are the last four toward the wooded area.

Field #7: The CVSA will continue to use the back field, known as Field #7, which is 1/2 mile from the entrance of the park on the left hand side, just past the equestrian area. For longtime CVSA players, this is the field that has been in use for the longest by the CVSA.

From the South: Take I-95 to Rt. 301 exit 82 (Chamberlayne Ave.). Turn left on Rt. 301 North to Wilkinson Rd. (1st traffic light). Turn right onto Wilkinson Rd. and go approximately one mile (pass ball fields on your left) and turn left onto Old Sellers Way (You will see the sign for Wilder Middle School). Go one block and take the first right for parking.

From the North: Take I-295 south to the Rt. 301 South exit (Chamberlayne Ave.) and go south for about 2 miles. Take a left on Wilkinson Rd. Go approximately one mile (pass the ball fields on your left) and turn left onto Old Sellers Way (You will see the sign for Wilder Middle School). Go one block and take the first right for parking.

PARKING: Please park in the parking lot at the end of Field 1 or continue around past the tennis courts and park in the Wilder Middle School lot. DO NOT PARK on the house-side of Old Sellers Way or on the neighborhood streets. You are allowed to park field side on Old Sellers Way, please pull in and parallel park or you may get a ticket.

The Providence Middle School soccer fields are located in the southside of the City of Richmond, in Chesterfield County.

Take Route 60 west (Midlothian Turnpike) from Chippenham Parkway. Turn left at Ruthers Rd. (Wendy's on right). Take second right on Marthaven Lane. Turn right on Starlight Lane. The soccer fields are behind school.

Take I-64 W to the Short Pump exit. The exit will put you on Broad Street (US 250). Head west on Broad Street. Take a right on Pouncey Tract Rd (VA 271). Follow Pouncey Tract over the interstate; the field is in front of Short Pump Middle School on your right.

From Powhite Parkway (Rt. 76) west, follow until you come to the stop light at Coalfield Road. and turn left. Take Coalfield past Genito Road (it will now be called Old Hundred). Swift Creek Middle School is just past Genito Rd. on your right.
