Lions Masters Take 40+ Title in Wilmington
The venerable Lions Masters traveled to Wilmington, North Carolina the weekend of February 5-6 to participate in the Seaside Adult Soccer Classic. The tournament was hosted by the Cape Fear Soccer Association. The Lions Masters were one of five teams in the 40+ Division; the championship was decided in round robin fashion, with the best record overall taking the title. The Lions Masters left little to the imagination as they swept all four games:

Team Captain Cary Wright reported that they played all four of their games in a 26-hour span - no small feat for a group just a few years from adult diapers themselves. The weather also cooperated as he looks forward to a defense of their title in February '06. Great job, Cary & the Lions!
